It’s been 3 mths+ since being a mother. Being a mother is really different. Apart from being fatter, most of my time evolved staying close with Denzel. Almost 24/7! But I’m enjoying each day when i see my boy grows! However, breastfeeding is something i feel really difficult. It has not been smooth for me to BF him cos i always have latching problem & not enough milk supply. During the first 2 mths, it was torture for me! Yes! It was so so painful to BF!! I almost gave up but i know how nutritious breast milk is for him. Also whenever after nursing, he will just cry & cry like not enough milk.So i bear with the pain and eventually i passed that stage! I took fenugreek supplement pills also to boost the milk supply. Hope i can provide my boy as long as i still have milk.

More or less quite stable in handling baby now. Still alot to learn and experience though. Time flies. I’m going back to work on Tuesday! WHAT! Hope to spend quality time with my denden! How? I will definitely miss him lot lot!

I’m into my 36 weeks. By 37 weeks, baby will be full term and ready to pop out anytime.
The last visit to Gynae last week was ok. Baby xxx is growing well. He’s 2kg @ 35wks – an average weight.
His position in my womb always been head downwards. Gynae said he’s in good position for labour but has not engaged yet.

I’m having mixed feelings now. Looking forward for the little one’s arrival yet i’m scared of the labour time!!! Wish me have a smooth delivery ba!

So excited to do the 3D scan! Can you see xxx in this pix?
He seems to be pondering (his left hand on his chin!), left leg sticking up and his eyes looking towards the left? My sister even said he might have dimple on his left cheek (just like mummy has it!).
I can see it! Hee….

Post Natal Massage – Booked

Gotten a few post natal massages from all my friends and finally i decided engaging Hadidah – a 17 yrs experienced Malay masseur. Hopefully she will be a good one.

A post natal massage is done after:

Normal delievery 4 to 7days start
C sect 10 days start

Stomach binding 6days, last day of package will need to return to her.
Benefit:

to increase stamina

Left with 2 months before the little one popping out, the Kiasu parents starts to prepare for his arrival.
Preparing early is better than last min right?
And also my tum tum getting bigger each day. If i don’t do it now, i won’t have the energy to do it later.

Start to pack what are needed to bring to my mum’s place, what are to pack at home. Washing up the baby clothing and napkin etc…

Continuing shopping as well….

Cotton wool
Powder holder
Non slip bath mat
Bath tub (gotten from Coll)
Baby cap, mitten and booties
More mitten and booties (Coll and Mum said got to prepare alot mittens as baby got to change alot each day!)
More clothing and rompers we bot in the States while we honeymooning there last year. Regretted never get more!
Nursing bras! I din know got to bring you know till i went to get disposable panties then the SA asked me. Hee.. first time i see nursing bras. Gotten this with opening in front. Think easier for breastfeeding ya!

Scans done @ Thomson Medical Hospital during the 20 weeks detailed scanning. Baby xxx is very active during the scan and took around 1/2 hr to finish the process… haha!

See what we’ve gotten!

Bottles warmer bag
Baby nail cutter (with magnifying glass. My mum needs that!)
Milk bottles washer brush (it’s like hook shape. My mum said this kind better)
Lu Yi You
Drapolene Nappy rash cream (my mum been using this brand when she looking after my cousins; colls and fren said Desitin is another brand which they are using, is good. I shall try on mum’s recommended brand first.)
J&J body powder, no more tears baby milk bath (According to feedback, they said J&J products added alot fragrance ingredients. Decided to keep away these from baby)
Kodomo detergent
Tollyjoy liquid cleanser (for milk bottles washing)
Pureen Head to Toe wash (for baby bath; Some said newborn only use water to bathe. Well, we buy just in case needing.)
Pureen Baby Powder (Cornstarch powder wor. Claimed by Sales Person at Kiddy Palace that sometimes powder may got into baby’s mouth. Safer to get this. And better absorbent cause newborn neck always being hidden and sweat trapped in there.)
Napkin shorts? hee… not sure this one for wat. Mum said get them.
